VRX SCENIC 6.2 - 6 Berth Family Tent
The Scenic 6.2 is a larger version of the
award winning Scenic 4.2, one of
Camping Magazines Top 10 family tents. The large six man
family tent comes with pre-bent steel poles for maximum head
room and breathable polyester inners. An impressive size and
sturdy construction, using steel poles means it doesn’t move
in higher winds.
The 6.2, whilst a six man tent has extra fixings for an extra
inner tent taking the tent up to a 8 berth. The sleeping area
is two separate sections allowing parents and children to have
different bedrooms. The tent also has re-inforced peggin points and stability strap fixing points (the tent comes with two storm straps).
The huge living area benefits from 5 doors,
some with secondary flymesh, 5 windows and a roof light. The
tent gives a superb 270 degree focal point so you can enjoy
the view all around, when you want, and with the mesh panels
not be annoyed by insects. It has a total length of 625 cm and
the widest point is 480 cm.
The tent also comes with a full groundsheet. The tent comes in two bags to make it easier to transport, and
comes with a full groundsheet. The pitching time for the tent, for two people, is 20 minutes.
The groundsheet is fire retardent, durable and waterproofpolyurethene. All inners used are fire retardent, breathable and are created from mildew resistant polyester. The two inners on the 6.2 are seperate.
All Outdoor Revolution Tents are outer first, so that you pitch the outer fabric of the tent and then hang the inners afterwards. As a British design company this is to prevent inner areas of the tent becoming wet upon pitching in rain.
All fabrics used on the tent are developed from a specialist tent fabrics, designed to be more waterproof, more durable and stronger than other 'non-technical' family tents and to last season after season in the UK.
The Scenic 6.2 has enlarged doors and gives a full 270 degree view of your surroundings. The windows in the unit are large to give you even more light and the ring and pin system makes it easy to set up. All guyline runners are alloy so they dont break and mak tensioning the tent even easier
