Outdoor Revolution Spacelite Awning
The Spacelite is an innovative new design for 2007. The awning can remain on the side of the caravan or motorhome, whilst travelling, and can be rolled out when on site meaning one of the quickest erection times of any available awning.
As you can see from the images Spacelite can remain on the side of the caravan whilst in transit. Because the single alloy pole remains in a separate carry bag, and not on the side of the caravan, only the canvas travels in the bag ensuring there is little weight (just 7kg) on the caravan and no chance of damage or wearing to the caravan or motorhome. The bag itself is fully taped, which means it is fully waterproof.
When on site, just unzip the bag, roll out the awning. Then the single aluminium pole, which is taken in a separate carry case, slides from left to right across the Spacelite front and holds the unit in place. Peg and guy out and you are ready!
If you prefer the Spacelite can still be used as a conventional awning, and threaded onto your awning rail when you arrive on site. Because it is lightweight, and so compact in it's own bag, it's very easy to thread on to the rail, much easier than a conventional awning!
The entire front of the awning can be zipped out or rolled back and the side panels can also be fully rolled back if needed.
Each window has a full zipped curtain attached, meaning that you have total control over Spacelite and how you want to use it.
The Spacelite floor area is 450cm wide and 245cm in depth and it measures 3.7m along the awning rail.
Spacelite is made from REVTEX 3000 Fabric ensuring it remains waterproof at all times.
Because of the unique design of Spacelite the entire structure remains in place with the use of one strong, flexible, alloy
pole and guylines.
The Spacelite is ideal for both quick weekend breaks and full holidays. It has enough room to accommodate large families but
is still quick and easy to erect. Because all the panels can be removed or rolled back the Spacelite can be used as great Sun Canopy, as well as a awning. All in all, there is nothing like the Spacelite for versatility, speed and innovative looks!

Questions and answers
Q. Will this fit my caravan height?
A. When checking the height of your van, DON'T use the measurement shown in the manufacturers specification. This will be to the very highest point, ie usually to the top of the TV ariel. You should measure the height from the ground, to the awning rail above the door. For instance, in the specification, a Bailey Senator is shown as 271cm high! However the actual height for the purpose of an awning is around 250cm. The vast majority of modern caravans are between 230 and 250 cm.
Q. What is RevTex 3000?
REVTEX 300 is a fully waterproof and breathable fabric. All seams are taped throughout the fabric. A hydrostatic head of 3,000mm indicates that the amount of water the fabric is able to withstand prior to the water penetrating, ensuring it remains waterproof at all times.
