For our York Meet 2006 we have chosen the family run site of Ashfield Farm
Caravan & Camping Site
Tents, caravans, motorhomes and all units welcome! The whole
site is set within peaceful rural countryside, yet is only 10 minutes from
the centre of York. It as also an ideal location for visiting the national
parks, coastal resorts and many other tourist attractions of North
Yorkshire, most within an hours drive.
The wooded site has an abundance of bird and wildlife, and the nearby
woods have a pack of deer that can often be seen.
The local village, Dunnington, is well provided for, having a newsagent,
mini-supermarket, butchers, hairdressers, fish & chip shop and 3 pubs
within walking distance.
There are frequent buses to York and there is also a cycle track from the
village to York to allow safe, environmentally friendly transport to the
city.

The meet is for two nights but why not extend your stay either side of the
meet dates and make the most of the break and all members who attend will
be pitched in the same area. The host for this meet is

The price for this meet is just £8 per unit per night whether you require
electric hookup or not and the price includes all members of your party, awnings and pets. Additional
nights, subject to availability, will be charged at the sites normal rate. Spaces are limited to just
25 units for this
meet and we are expecting them to fill up very quickly, so please register your
