14th July – 16th July 2006, Lincolnshire Showground,
Lincoln The fifth annual Midsummer Music & Leisure Show was staged
on the Lincolnshire Showground, Lincoln over the weekend of the 14, 15 &
16 July and for 2006 we will be holding a members meet there.
Tents, caravans, motorhomes and all units welcome! The highlight
of the 2005 weekend was Saturday evenings stunning open-air concert which
starred The Manfreds. The top entertainment line-up kicked off with A Kind
of Magic, a tribute to legends Queen followed by 50s and 60s Rock 'n' Roll
star Marty Wilde.
This show is different in format to the many existing outdoor motorhome &
leisure shows being centred around an open-air concert on Saturday evening
with an extensive outdoor leisure orientated trade area open during the
day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The leisure show was very popular with over 3700 day visitors as well as
the on-site campers browsing around the selection of 150 trade stands.
Exhibitors displayed a large range of new & pre-owned motorhomes, a
selection of caravans and tents, a broad variety of accessories and
products for the outdoor enthusiast as well as leisurewear, services and
accessories for the home and garden.
Many campers arrived on Thursday staying the full weekend until Monday. |
