The main reason for UKCampsite.co.uk users getting together is to relax, have fun and enjoy yourself with like minded folk, whilst doing as little or as much as you like. With this in mind, to ensure everyones enjoyment we've put together some basic guidelines for attending events in a group. This is only a guide for campsite etiquette when camping in groups in general, but when you book direct with your chosen site please check for their full rules.
Pitching
- When on a site which does not have marked pitches a
minumum 6 metre space between you and your nearest neighbour must be observed
- On arrival fill a bucket (ideally marked FIRE) with water and place
it at the front of your pitch
Noise
- Noise after the campsites cut off time will not be tolerated
- If you are found to be noisy after the cut off time, you will be
asked to quieten down
- Failure of noise to cease and further complaints being made against
you will result in you being asked to leave
Children
- Please ensure your children are supervised at all times
- All children should be inside their units or in the company of their parents at a reasonable hour. Wandering around the site after noise cut off time or after dark, can be unsettling for other campers and is not safe. This cannot be tolerated
- Ensure your children are aware of site rules, respect the site, other campers and equipment
- Underage drinking is strictly forbidden, and failure to respect this will result in you being asked to leave
Pets
- Please ensure dogs are kept on leads at all times whilst on site
- Be courteous to your neighbours regarding dog noise
- Always clear up after your dog.
We ask all those who attend meet up with other UKCampsite.co.uk users to read and take on board these simple and effective guidelines to ensure that everyone there can relax and enjoy themselves.
We thank you for your understanding in this matter and look forward meeting so many more of you all.
