Few sites can match this fantastic location, with it's view of Ben Nevis and the numerous walking opportunities, including a large dog-walk area.
Some ablution facilities are a little dated, but all kept clean and well maintained.
The shop is excellent - most everything you need, and just a short 10-minute drive into Fort William for anything else. For us, the best catering facilities on our tour so far.
The 'Kitchen' serves a full range of breakfast options in the morning and a few evening meals.
The bar / restaurant serves full meals from 15:00 in the bar and 17:00 in the restaurant.
Not inexpensive, but the quality and quantity of food fully justifies the prices. If you have never had 'Cullen Skink' try their offering. 'to die for'.
The only negative is that they are really not dog-friendly - only allowed at the outside tables. Such a shame because the bar area is plenty big enough to cope with them.
Staff are friendly and efficient. The only gripe is that they mow and strim the grass right up to to your unit - twice whilst we were there - and consequently splattered the motorhome and awning tent with cut, damp grass - very irritating.

Clean, tidy, large site.
Very good facilities but disappointed with lack of Wi-Fi (restricted to reception area).
Good location for surrounding areas.

Walking the Great Glen Way, very good site,
The secure recharging lockers were a pleasant surprise.
Reasonable price, good shop, didn't try the catering or bar.

We have been here lots of times over the last 20 years; starting off in a tent then onto a motorhome.
The site is brilliant, very clean & has everything you need.
The on-site food van is now an added bonus, we tried it this time & the food is excellent.
Our only gripe it that the pub doesn't allow dogs. This is something that most people with a dog has complained about over the years.
If the owners of the site browse our reviews, please, please, please make the pub doggy friendly. You know most dog owners keep their dogs in better check than some do their children. X

The site is in a beautiful location with great views of the mountains. It's quite a large site but it didn't feel too large as it's divided into sections and was very quiet, I had expected more noise.
Booking was easy, all done online. Quick check-in on arrival including a map of the site.
For tents you're given a choice of where too pitch which I like. Quite a few areas are sloped but it was easy enough to find somewhere flat. The ground was a little boggy in places but I suppose that's to be expected in mid-September in Scotland. You're not allowed to drive on the grass but there is space to leave your car near to your pitch.
Plenty of toilets but only two showers in the block nearest to my pitch. I thought this would be a problem given how many were on the site but it wasn't. Facilities were clean enough and the showers nice and hot.
The site is well maintained, bins emptied every day (don't pitch near the bins if you want a lie in!). There's a shop which was well-stocked and also a place selling coffee and meals. You're only a couple of miles from Fort William if you want supermarkets etc. I didn't see any facilities for freezing ice packs but the site shop sold bags of ice cubes.
There are plenty of areas to explore if you're into walking. Or just sit and watch people trekking up an down Ben Nevis at all hours of the day and night! If you want a drive out it's only around 45 minutes to the coast at Arisaig, you can even go to Mull via Lochaline.
The price per night was good value, especially with the pay for three nights get one free offer that was on at the time I booked.
All in all a great site for exploring a beautiful area.

The best campsite we have ever been too. Everything was pristinely clean, shower blocks and facilities spotless.
Every part of the campsite was well kept and maintained.
The shop was well stocked with friendly helpful staff.
Although a large site as it was well thought out and planned we never felt cramped or overlooked. Lovely dog walking area, our little dog enjoyed the area too.
Added plus was the restaurant around the corner, serving excellent food and with lovely staff as well.
Will be visiting again next year but this time for longer.

Our stay at Glen Nevis camp site was very enjoyable, such a big camp site with excellent shower and toilet facilities, well kept clean and tidy,
with hot food available to purchase and a shop that sells everything you would need to ensure a great stay on site.
The added bonus being situated at the bottom of Ben Nevis with outstanding views of mountains all around the site,
We will certainly be staying again in the near future.
