I have the 4 berth tent , which is basically the same, just smaller. We used this for our first tent for our family, we had both camped when children & thought this was an ideal price, as we weren't sure we were going to enjoy camping as much as when we were young.
I have just used the tent for the first time in more then a year, previously it had been out in torrential rain & strong winds, we have never had any problems with it, although it is quite small for a family of 4, which is not a problem when it is sunny, as we only used it to sleep in, but as we didn't want to be fair weather campers we decided to upgrade to a larger tent. However it was great to go away again in it this weekend, just my youngest daughter & me. Really pleased we managed to put it up alone.

We have just purchased the Proaction 6 person tent half price at Argos for £43.00 and it was well worth the money. We have given an 8/10 as we didn't experience any rain. We stayed in east Yorkshire where it was very windy being on the coast and the tent kept us very warm. Two children in one room and two adults and a small child in the other and we found there was plenty of room. We have a table and chair and all our cooking equipment at one end of the middle section and still have enough room to get in and out of the bedrooms.
It was fairly easy to put up first time round and we have never put up a tent before, the instructions were easy to follow and we only had one argument whilst trying to construct the tent. All in all great value for the money and would recommend for first time campers a room for the kids one for the adults, can't go wrong really.

It stood up to the wind conditions and rain and the bedrooms were cosy enough to not feel too cold in but we got our double air bed inside with a gap enough to keep some essentials at the side of one part but I dont think it would be large enough for 3 adults. Maybe two adults and one small child. The inner part of the tent was very drafty round the bottom edges and wasn't as high as I'd have liked to be able to stand up in - it hurts your back if you crouch in there to change, so an extra room would be a good idea to purchase to go along with this tent so you can change in comfort.
We slept in the one part of used the other room for clothing and food. Enough room for two folding chairs and a folding table and food hamper. We used the kettle inside but not a good idea with the condensation on the tent afterwards. Plus we read that this was not waterproof tent only showerproof but it seemed to be fine in the rain when we used it. We will be using it again as its new but in the future we may invest in a larger tent but its a good tent overall.

We got this tent to replace our 4 man domed tent (needed more space lol) as it was reduced in Argos to approx. £60.
It does what it says on the tin, bedrooms could do with being slightly bigger and would benefit from a SIG, but, for £60, what do you want lol. Best bet is to gaffer tape the outer shell's lower flaps to the groundsheet to give the impression of a SIG ;o)
Good sized living area, especially when you don't have the second bedroom in it and put the extra groundsheet in. More than enough room to sit on folding chairs to get out of the rain.
On the subject of rain, we took it to Castleton for it's maiden voyage and enjoyed three nights of constant rain lol. Tent seemed to stand up to it with no leaks.
Overall, I'd recommend this tent, especially if you can get it at reduced price.

We bought this tent for our first camping trip. It rained heavily overnight and was very windy. It didn't blow over although it leaked in several places namely the seams and windows. Took it back for a refund which Argos were happy to sort. Its easy to put up although it took an age to get square. No real complaints given the price but not for us.

We bought this tent to use for just 2 people, it wasn't too heavy, it was very spacious but not too big. We used one of the bedrooms for our sleeping area, and the other to store food, and clothing etc. The middle area was perfect for 2 fold up chairs and 2 friends sat on cushions on the groundsheet. We were ok cooking in the central area, rolling up the groundsheet. The tent was easy to put up, and was waterproof. It was reduced I think - £50? good value- I recommended this to a friend who purchased one too. :)

As someone who has not camped for a while (15yrs) I decided to take my son camping this year. We purchased the 6 man Pro-Action tent at a greatly reduced price (I believe it is still reduced though more than we paid for it). The tent itself was quite easy to put up but the pin and post system it has requires some muscle power - not ideal when its raining and your hands are slipping up the pole as you try to put the pin in. This was the first downside to the tent and as far as I can see there are only two downsides. It stood up really well in the 70mph winds we experienced on the campsite - I wish the gazebo had had its sticking power. From the outside the tent looks quite large, there is a fairly large 'living area' between the two bedrooms but I think we would be hard pushed to get three people and bags into each room, this would be the second and last downside of the tent. For two people the bedrooms are ideally sized as you can store all your bags and essentials in them, you could possibly get a double airbed into each. My only other moan about the tent was the inner/outer groundsheets - it comes with two and one is slightly smaller than the other. As you can turn the door into a porch I assumed the smaller groundsheet was for this area, leaving the larger groundsheet for the inner living area. But and it is only a little but. The larger groundsheet needed to be positioned under the bedrooms. Once pegged down you then couldn't peg down the bedrooms - so I swapped the groundsheets and found the same happened with the smaller groundsheet, once in place you couldn't peg down the bedrooms, I managed to get round this by folding the groundsheets so they were the slightly smaller than the bedrooms. It worked well and did protect anything that we had in the inner area.
Overall an excellent tent for the money and I think the price they have it now is equally good value. It stood up to five days of wind and rain and we remained perfectly dry and the tent stayed up. Word of caution due to its size which is deceptive put the tent up at home before going away and invest in some new tent pegs the ones that are supplied do the job but I found that in the strong winds they were coming out of the ground so an early morning inspection was needed.
An excellent tent for a small family (no more than four) or a couple as you could use the second bedroom to store your clothes etc. Not too good for anyone over 5'5' as this is the max standing room in the middle of the tent and you definitely cannot use the central living area as a cooking space, you would be wise to invest in a utility tent - not a gazebo to accompany this tent.
