Iv just had my 1st camping experience with this tent and bought it for a small overnight or 2 night stopover on the way to a further afield campsite with our bigger polycotton tent which would be too much of a handful for an overnight.

Its heavier than I thought it would be but thats not a bad thing - points to reasonable quality of materials used so im not complaining about that - just an observation.

Its easy to put up - about 20 mins approx and is a good sized tent for 2 people. We didnt use the 2nd bedroom pod so we left that out and used it as living space which is great. Theres entry to both sides of the tent and electric cable entry too with velcro ties inside the tent to keep the cables out of the way.

We havent tested the 4000mm hh of the tent yet as it was dry when we camped but im keen to see how well it copes in heavy prolonged rain.

Im not a fan of the very strong blue colour but you soon get used to it.

Although this tent has 2 vents, 1 on each end which we kept open, I was very surprised at just how much condensation had built up on the ceiling of the tents flysheet. It was soaking wet in the morning and I had to open both doors of the tent and also keep the fan heater on to try to dry out the condensation.

Im not sure why it was so bad - it was dry outside and we didnt have any damp clothes or wet items inside the tent.

So im marking it down on condensation on the inside but otherwise this is a great little tent, I would never use it for 4 people - just tooooo small, unless it was an emergency. 4 people for sleeping is fine but iv no idea where everyone would go once out of the bedroom pods.

But for 2 people its comfortable and spacious to both sleep and to sit inside.

I paid 108.00 for mine including delivery - and for that price id definitely recommend it!

We were looking for a weekender tent and as we like the vis a vis concept this tent was amongst the top of the list.

We bought it at a reduced price from Ł129 to Ł89, we currently own an Outwell, Wynnster, Khyam and Lichfield and haven't previously owned a Kampa tent but this tent surpassed all our expectations in a budget tent and quality wise was on a par with the Outwell and I wouldn't be surprised if Kampas high end tents were better!

It is a small tent and thats what it is sold as we bought it for 1-2 night camping and for that it is ideal. Obviously there isn't much storage and the bedroom pods are 'comfortable' for 2 adults, ideally it would best suit a couple and you could use the other pod for storage OR like we did remove one pod and use as an extra living area. It would be small for a 2+2 family although we are a a 2+1 child + 2 small dogs it suits us.

My husband timed me and it took me a total of 14minutes to pitch it AND peg it out, it really is that simple and its based on the ring and pin system with tension straps.

It has 2 entrance doors both with attached window blinds to roll up, it also comes with porch poles however we haven't used them yet. It doesn't have secondary mesh doors on the outer doors only the bedroom pods (so don't get confused with the description).

It also comes with a fully sewn in groundsheet which I've never known on a small vis a vis and its perfect although as previous reviewer says there is a gap at the bottom of the doors which is just closed via velcro having said that all the tents we own have that issue.

There are two EHU points by each door and there are also velcro straps on the inner tent to attach the lead if need be. The outer is 1000HH more than the Outwell we own and you can tell while everyones tents were lit up like its Christmas you could barely see inside ours from outside at night with a lamp :-) it also rained heavily whilst we were away and we had no issues. Condensation wasn't an issue either due to the large'ish vents either side of the tent and the gap under the doors and we had used a heater so you'd expect some.

You can buy a footprint for less than Ł10 and also a carpet but we bought a Hi Gear Corado 4 carpet for Ł30 which very nearly covers the whole tent and would be better size wise in that respect as it gives extra insulation under the bedroom pods.

If you're not too well up on tents you may not appreciate the quality of this tent it truly is very well made with small touches that surpass the high end market types, this tent will not be resold, lent or given away by us like we have done in the past it truly is an exceptional, good quality tent and if you buy it as a weekender you won't be disappointed.

A fine tent for weekends away especially for 2 people. Only have on niggle and that is the doors are not fully enclosed when zipped up. There is a gap at the bottom, and although there is velcro this is ineffective if it is windy and you want to keep the draft out.

We use the Outwell tarp with this , pitched over one of the doors for extra room and it a perfect set up.

A great little tent, ideal for the weekend, festivals or any other event. Unusually, for a compact tent, the Minnis 4 has a Sealed Groundsheet System to keep draughts and bugs at bay. The tent has a door either side, both of which have a secondary mesh door. Extra ventilation is provided by the vents at either end.
