5 Reviews of the Knightwick 2.0S 3 Berth
By: Oswestry Ed Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2017 Rating:
I was lucky to recently win this tent in UKCS competition. I have now used it twice (solo trips). It is easy to erect, and proved to be waterproof and on the last trip stood up to strong winds. Plenty of room for three with more than adequate storage space. Even repacking a wet tent was not difficult. Very pleased with the construction only time will tell on its durability.

Can't improve on the techy details and comments made in other reviews - they say it all really - but I wanted to say I'm very pleased with it. I won it in the Advent Calendar prize draw 2017 and, as my crawlling and stooping days are pretty much over, I gave it to my daughter so the grandsons could use it and they all think it's great. It's a smart-looking tent and I like the colours and detailing. It's ideal for my grandsons and will serve them well - or anyone who doesn't mind the bending aspect of camping! If daughter and son-in-law fancy a lightweight child-free weekend away it would do for them, instead of the heavier Vango Tigris 400 they have. Best prize I've won in a very long time; thank you UKCS and apologies for taking so long to leave a review!

I won this in a UKCS competition. Finally done a test pitch in the back garden. Seems decently put together, with a generous sleeping area for two and a good-sized porch/storage area. I reckon it'll do a good job for festivals. I wouldn't be confident of it standing up to real foul weather but I've got the Phad for that. Well pleased with it and it's got enough room to let us stop taking the pop-up to act as storage for cold-box, chairs etc

This tent is perfect for a short camping break. There was plenty of space for me and my girlfriend in the sleeping area and the storage area was surprisingly large. We was able to fit all our things in the storage area to keep the sleeping area pretty empty and comfortable. The tent stood well in the wind and was very easy to erect.

The tent is pretty small and lightweight, so perfect if using a small vehicle or space is tight.
Upon arrival at site the first thing we noticed was that the instructions were not sewn in to the bag, they were tucked inside a clear panel on the bag, which whilst keeps them safe, they could blow away, but the tent is really easy to put up, so you may not need them after the first outing.
The tent was very easy to put up and a simple procedure of pegging out the back corners, then feeding the three poles through the sleeves and we were ready to pop the poles in to the ring and pin system.
The ring and pin system was not adjustable, however there was enough movement in the tent to allow us to pop these in without any difficulties. With the three poles in place the tent starts to take shape and is ready to pull it tight and peg out the front corners.
Once all pegged up, we were able to put the porch cover up using the two poles supplied for this job.
The entrance is rather low, but once in you get to the porch area where one can put the groundsheet down if they wish, we choose to use it to cover up the straps underneath and to keep our stuff off the ground. You could sit in there in a chair, but it is low and this would not offer much headroom. However sitting on the floor, there is sufficient space for a couple and a game of cards, etc.
The bedroom unit pops into place using the hooks and clips supplied and is a normal size bedroom pod and one can sleep across ways to maximise the space.
In the bedroom pod you will find a pocket for your mobile, keys, etc. However there was not hanging point for the light.
The door has a separate fly mesh to stop the bugs flying in when giving the tent an airing and the opening is a good size.
A couple of improvements would be a hanging point for a light and a sewn in ground sheet, but other than that the tent was a good size for a couple and although one cannot stand up in it, there is enough room to store your bags, get dressed, play games, sleep etc.
The colours are striking and we liked them and this was a very easy tent to put up and perfect for a couple looking for a weekend tent.
