4 Reviews of the Columbia 400
By: Dazza1960 Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2009 Rating:
Great tent with plenty of living area. The poles are a bit on the heavy side when in the bag but they do make the tent very stable when erected. The bedroom area is great for the two of us but probably a bit tight for 4 people. Brought a Sungari footprint and carpet for the tent as it was very hard to find a supplier for a Columbia 400. Would recommend this tent.

Have used this tent 3 times now.Excellent tent,we are a pair of 60+wrinklies and manage to assemble it very well between us.Bought 4berth for extra bedroom space as the old joints are not what they used to be.Plenty of room to manage 4 people easily.Bought steel poles as we were used to them and find fibreglass give less stability.Cant really fault this tent and all for a wonderful £239.00 from Norwich camping.

Just come back from our second trip in our Columbia 400 - make sure yours has steel poles as we had to return one from a supplier who tried to supply it with fibreglass poles. Great tent, very sturdy in what were windy conditions on a hill top. We like the porch area and the height space is great. We used the sleeping area for 3 and there was lots of room. Carpet is a must and the footprint saves the bottom of the actual groundsheet from getting wet and muddy. Great tent at a snip of £256.00

Bought this tent as it has steel poles for reliability as had previous bad experience with fibreglass ones. Separate enclosed porch area very useful for wet items and hiding things away! Spacious, airy living area, bedroom can be split if required. Husband 6ft and has plenty of headroom. We like the flexibility of the split front door with its large window.Pitches quickly and packs away easily into the roller bag. Brilliant tent and good looking too!
