We purchased the Aruba to use as our main 2 week holiday tent. The Aruba is a 6 berth, six would fit but would be packed in and I feel it would be slightly cramped. We have two adults in the large compartment and 1 child in the separate smaller compartment and this works really well leaving space for clothes bags. It has an area opposite side to the kitchen which can be unzipped and left open if it is hot and sunny or you can purchase an extra bedroom pod to give extra sleeping room. We purchased the utility annex which zips in and is pushed out with poles, plus it has a privacy curtain with an encorporated tent tidy and wardrobe hanging rail. It is a good useable and flexible space which we have used for our Thetford porta potti and still leaves room for some storage. I would also recommend having the sun-canopy, useful both when hot and raining.
The tent is bulky, heavy and expensive so it is a real commitment. You have to look after it and make sure it is all properly dried before packing away. If looked after it will definitely reward you for a very long time as it is so well made and lovely to sleep in.
It is likely you will also want to purchase a separate groundsheet of some description for the main living area and perhaps to put under the bedroom sleeping pods to prtotect them.
I have the 2007 model which is canvas with the usual skirting and roof. I believe the specification has been changed for 2008, so check the brochure for materials, as I think unless the brochure that I have seen is wrong the tent is no longer canvas.
