Just back from our first ever camping trip and although the weather was dreadful, the whole experience was made much easier due to our fantastic tent. Just a couple of tiny leaks by the window (but I'm talking drops here and given that it was raining very heavily all weekend, that's not bad!) but overall I'm really pleased with it. It took about 45 mins to put up, really straight forward, the side space is a real bonus as you can put the kids toys, clothes, coats etc there without compromising your living space. The porch is great for putting all your kitchen equipment and you've got to get the carpet - it's a luxury but worth it. Went back in to the bag no problem at all. Would really recommend it.

Having previously had a leaky vango aspen we were decided on the Idaho as a possible replacement we have not been disappointed. After a weeks camping the Idaho as performed amazingly. First it took literally 20 mins to pitch first time! The space and comfort is without rival, it is well made and stood up in high winds, blistering heat and occasional heavy showers.

Just come back from our very first camping trip in a very wet and windy Cornwall, the Idaho xl stood up to the constant rain and wind without any problems no leaks at all. We stayed very warm and dry feeling completely confident that the tent would withstand anything, more than can be said for other campers who we meet that had very wet tents and bedding etc. I would recommend the footprint groundsheet and the carpet is a must making things very comfortable. Overall the weather was terrible but the tent was fantastic, a real good test.

We all love this tent. We have just had a test run to a local campsite with this tent. I thought it would be hard to put up due to the size and it was much easier than our old (smaller) tent. The space was fantastic with two children we had plenty of room. We also have the front extension which easily fit the stove, coolbox etc in. Best tent ever.

This tent is amazing, it's by far the best we have used. The space is really well thought out, Hubby had his living space!, I had my dressing room, the kids turned there dressing room into a play area which was great cause I could just shut the curtain on the mass of toys they had in there! It withstood very heavy rain and winds, and is easy to pitch and take down after a few practice runs! (getting it back in the bag the first time was a challenge!) Would recommend this tent to anyone considering it.

Superb,a well thought out family tent made from the latest all weather fabrics. Easy to erect with the added comfort of knowing it will take all thats thrown at it with the high wind and rain. The interior carpet and canopy extension are a bonus too! I know the kids will out grow the tent before we will replace it, but given the quality we look forward to retirement.

I love my Idaho,
It's spacious and cosy, especially with the carpet. It goes up quite easily and is well manufactured. I think it is also probably bomb proof, as it stood up magnificently during the gales of Whitsun Bank holiday.

This is probably the best family tent we have owned, and we have had a few. From the spacious layout to the special features, it seems that at last someone has sat down and thought about giving us what we want in a tent design - spacious bedrooms, large family area, really useful pockets, hanging rail space, and a separate privacy curtain that you can pull across to make a dressing room area - my wife loves it. Next we plan to add the front extension for even more flexibility. Its just great.

We have just bought one of these and had to return it for a replacement as one of the zips had been sewn too close to the material so wouldn't shut properly, there was also a small hole in the flysheet and the poles didn't fil well at all, BUT if this one is better it could be the best tent we've ever had.
