I think theses are great value for money tents our is still going strong albeit now belongs to someone else. We have NEVER had any broken poles because we put it up correctly. I CAN put this up easily on my own even when its windy its EASY. If the groundsheet were any bigger when it rains the water would run down the tent sides onto the groundsheet its meant to be small. As for mesh on the outer door this is a cheap tent. I do agree the back wall could do with a middle pegging point and you can have one if you can use a needle and thread. Don't knock this tent its cheap and cheerful and does what it says on the box

Bought for bargain price off ebay shop. Pros: good size tent, light and airy. Easy to pitch and easy to put away as over sized tent bag. Double sided door entry points, good ventilation. Cons: guy ropes not pre attached. Ground sheet only just covers inner living space (pity not full ground sheet) Could do with one door being mesh inner door to allow ventilation without letting in bugs. Main problem, the flexi poles are under a lot of stress even when pitched on level ground. Used twice - set of poles splintered, no high winds to add stress. Other users have also had poles splinter and trying to get replacements from Rage is nigh on impossible! They are based in China - so good luck everyone getting responses to emails and replacement pieces! I have waited 2 weeks and no response to numerous emails. My ebay seller ended up mailing me replacement poles free of charge!

Nice tent, but poor instructions, first time camping and the instructions were no use whatsoever! I now know how to put it up so should be easier next time hopefully! Needs two people to put it up, also the zips could be stronger, but all in all a nice tent with plenty of room. I'm 6ft3 and could stand up no problem.

First family camping trip to the Yorkshire Dales where we tried our new tent fresh from ebay, new, at less than £100.00. We did trial it in the garden first but was pushed for room so the proper test came at the weekend.
Putting it up - how one of the reviewers managed to put it up on his own is simply astonishing, as with the slightest puff of wind will cause a real struggle. With 2 it is ok and with common sense it is simple to do.
Quality - good for the price I would say - kept us dry, zips all operated ok. Poles seem to be under a heck of a lot of tension and as a result 1 splintered as we were taking it down - a gust of wind just got the better of it - but I will replace and have not been put off using it again. Plenty of room for Mum and Dad in one sleep pod and our son loved having the other one to himself at the other side of the tent. Living area again plenty of room for the 3 of us. Would not want to try any more than 4 adults for this '6 man tent' - but I think that goes for most 'man' ratings.
Very light inside and airy - doors either side, plenty of ventilation and 2 windows plus a nice porch affair.
Overall excellent value for the money we paid.

I bought one of these from an Ebay company. So far it has been used twice, first time is when it snowed and it stood up to that really well. Second time I went to Scotland and for 2 days we had heavy rain and gale forced winds. The tent let in a little bit of water through the back wall but I think in terms of the weather conditions it did well.
The only negative things I can say are that the back wall could do with some more places to peg it down and the tent is cramped if you take more than 3 adults are staying in it.

I just got one of these last month off ebay. We just pitched it for a couple of nights last weekend. I have to say, despite having put up many tents, mostly smaller than this, without the instructions it was a struggle. I have e-mail Rage to get some instructions. I don't believe you could put this up on your own. Having said that, it was only the first time and after a few choice anglo saxon phrases and apologies to my long suffering wife, we made it after about an hour. (That's pumping up the beds, and setting up table, chairs, stove, and bedding included.) It's an impressively large tent for just the two of us, and all the better for not having spent anything like the full asking price ! Our main criteria was the internal seating area which was cavernous for the two of us ! I could almost park my 107 in there ! It held up to the wind and the rain with no probs. One of the plastic hooks which clips to the shock poles did fail but I think we pitched the hoops in the wrong order and stressed the centre section a bit too much. I just have to figure out where all the guy lines go ! There are three different lengths and none of them were attached when we got it !

Good tent - used many times - easy to put up (i put it up on my own as usually it is just myself & my daughter camping.) only problem I have is the back wall - it doesnt have a small flap that you could peg down - so sometimes if the wind is in the wrong direction it will come straight in.
Other than that - we are really pleased.
