Lockdown Easing means Dealerships Reopen
|
Following the recent easing of lockdown restrictions, many caravan, motorhome and campervan dealers reopened showrooms on 1st June 2020 in England, with extra systems and safety equipment to ensure customers and staff are protected.
Many others are opening over the coming two weeks, although this relates to England only - it's not yet known when other parts of the UK will follow suit.
Industry predictions are that there will be significant demand in the coming weeks for new and used caravans, motorhomes and campervans.
This is down to buyers who delayed their purchase because of the lockdown, and there is also predicted to be thousands of potential new buyers who have traditionally holidayed abroad but have now decided vacations in the UK are safer and more appealing, especially in a self-contained vehicle like a caravan, motorhome or a campervan.
Please note at the time of publication this applies to England only, other parts of the UK including Wales and Scotland are changing their lockdown rules at a different rate.
