12 Volt LCD/TFT Stabiliser - Amperor ADP-90DC-12S1

The ADP-90DC-12 stabiliser was specially developed to prevent flat screen type TVs (LCDs) from being damaged by over voltage when being powered from an unregulated 12 volt supply. The screen of a LCD type TV uses TFT (Thin Film Transistor) technology which is susceptible to over voltage conditions.

The stabiliser ADP-90DC-12 is designed to provide a stabilised 12 volt supply to sensitive electronic equipment used in caravans, motorhomes, boats, etc.

What did we think?

We were sent the complete package as above and arrived simply boxed in two reasonably sized boxes, making it easy and offering protection to the products when transporting in the car, caravan, motorhome etc.

The system was very easy to set up with simply to follow instructions, enabling a quick and easy installation.  The onscreen setup for the television and the freeview box made tuning in and setting up the system straight forward and painless.

The units are lightweight and being an LCD television take up very little space in the caravan cupboard, therefore allowing extra storage space for some of those more essential camping items.

Overall a simply to use and set up package, but please note you will need additionally a scart lead and RF lead to connect the television and freeview box together.
