The Streaker
|
After Winter storage does your caravan have black streaks like the picture
on the right?
Proud caravan owners will know all about these ugly streaks that blight
their equipment when left exposed to acid rain and airborne dirt and grime,
and how difficult it can be to remove the resulting marks.
The Streaker is a moulded rubber strip designed to be inserted into
the awning rail to deflect rainwater away, thus preventing the streaks from
happening in the first place - simple but brilliant.
The Streaker also keeps the rails free of dirt and debris, and will
save you a small fortune in cleaning materials, not to mention the time you
would normally spend using them.
The Streaker is very easy to fit, and slides into the rail the same way as the awning.
The Streaker comes with a 5 year warranty against manufacturing faults, and was nominated by Practical Caravan magazine as its product of the month for July 2010.
Where
can I get them from?
There are two Streaker kits available depending on the awning length quoted in the owners handbook, each comprising two equal lengths for the sides of your caravan and delivered to you rolled up.
Streaker/A is for awning lengths up to 1000cm so will be suitable for most caravans and costs just £32.95 plus P&P. Streaker/B is for over 1000cm and costs £41.95 plus P&P.
The Streaker is available for purchase online from the Caravan Innovations website. |
