The UKCampsite.co.uk was recently asked to take a look at some interesting new lighting gadgets, which look ideal for the camping and caravanning market. Using LED technology these products provide an alternative way to torches and lanterns, of providing light.
LED Caps
These useful caps have 5 bright white LED bulbs
built in at the peak of your cap. They're always pointed at what you're
looking at and your hands are free to do other things, perfect for all
manner of applications. They provide a high level of light right where you
need it. Perfect for:
- Camping and caravanning
- Reading in bed or other dark environments
- Model making / crafting or other detailed activities
- Map reading
- Fiddly repair work
- Jogging and other outdoor pursuits
- In lofts and out buildings where light is limited.
The Foresight LED caps are very lightweight, and take two included CR2032 button cell batteries.
Clip-on LEDs
The ideal solution for users of prescription glasses -
these clip-on LEDs provide simply clip on to your reading glasses, and like the caps, they always project a beam of light at whatever you are looking at. They provide all the benefits of the LED caps whilst allowing you to use your own personal eyewear.
Ideal for reading in bed in a tent, motorhome or caravan without turning on other lights, and disturbing your better half or kids.
