It’s coming to that time of the year again - National Camping and
Caravanning Week 2012!
NCCW from June 2 to June 8, 2012 is The Camping and Caravanning Club’s
annual celebration of the nation’s growing love of camping, caravanning and
the great outdoors – and after 12 years it’s bigger and better than ever
And with it also coinciding with the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Central
Weekend, they have organised a unique right, royal celebration to mark the
momentous occasion – a great opportunity to bring both new and experienced
campers together to have fun with family and friends!
World Record Attempt!
On Monday, June 4, they will be embarking on a Guinness World Records
Attempt for the ‘most people wearing paper crowns across multiple
locations’.

And there are more exciting opportunities and competitions as they're also
supporting The Big Jubilee Lunch on Sunday, June 3. Prepare for the World
Records Attempt by getting together with fellow campers on site for a few
hours of community, friendship, fun and of course some lunch!
So whether you decide to join them on one of their
Club or
Camping in the Forest Sites on June 4 to help take part in our Record
Attempt or opt for a Certificated Site, DA Meet or even your own back garden
- celebrate NCCW in style by pitching up and enjoying that Real
Richness that camping provides!
