Technical information

• Size: 4.05m by 2.95 m surface area (without guy lines).
• Inner tent space: Very spacious. 2.25 m long by 2.80 m inner tent, it can house 2 double comfort sleeping bed camps with their head rest positioned upright. Large storage porch.
• Living area and storage space: Mini living are with maximum height of 1.57 m. Surface area: 1.70m by 2.30m max. 4 people can sit comfortably around a table with room to store belongings. Large storage pouch.
• Thermal insulation: The "Fresh flysheet is exclusive and patented.It significantly reduces the heat inside a tent in full sun, thanks to its reflective and low emission properties. It is made up of 3 layers: an outer coating of titanium dioxide, a centre layer of polyester fabric, and an aluminised layer on the inside. The fabric reflects back 56% of the sun's energy, absorbs 35% and only allows 9% to penetrate inside the tent.
• Ventilation: 1 ventilation flap behind the bedroom. The bedroom roof also opens fully. 3 ventilation positions on the sides of the bedroom: closed, open (protected from rain) and rolled open. All ventilation flaps are adjustable from inside and outside. The living area ceiling is totally ventilated. The entrance door has a built-in upper section which can be opened onto a mosquito net. The flaps at the base of the flysheet can be attached to leave an air gap. Designed for condensation-limiting ventilation.
• Lighting system: 4 separate switches. 2 "Warm white" LED bulb. 20 lumens (0.3 watts) per spotlight. Battery case (4xLR6/AA supplied). Approx. 7h30 battery life for continuous use.
• Pitching/folding away: Use pitching trick by positioning and securing the groundsheet for the whole tent before unfolding it. This makes it easier to position and pitch the tent properly. Then, it unfolds and pitches in 2 minutes (see the pitching video). It's quick and easy to fold away thanks to "EASY" system.
• Waterproofing: All Quechua tents are laboratory tested (WHOLE TENT subject to 200 litres/hour/m² for 4 hours!) and in camping conditions. (PU coated polyester flysheet, polyethylene 120 g/m² groundsheet, all seams are waterproofed by thermoformed strips). breathable polyester room under the flysheet to prevent contact with droplets of condensation that can form on the interior of the flysheet.
• Poles/pegs: Solid fibreglass poles, 6.5 mm diameter / 5mm galvanised steel for excellent twist-resistance.
• Tent bag: 93 cm diameter flat disk.
• UV: (Protection against Ultraviolet rays) The "Fresh" fabric has an SPF of 50+. Warning: High levels of UVs can pass through an open tent flap.
