All their Bell Tents are made from 100% natural breathable cotton canvas that drapes down from the center pole and is held tight by guy ropes to create that distinctive old fashioned shape outside and wonderful soft ambiance within.

Also for 2013 after getting feedback from their customers, Boutique Camping have also introduced a secondary mosquito netting door, a thicker center pole, thicker guy ropes and stronger pegs that won’t bend when you hammer them into the ground.

Finally to add that exclusive boutique camping touch, they have also added their own branded zippers and metal guy ropes.

All their Bell Tents Canvas are treated with mold, rot and water repellent and come with a 12 month manufacturers warranty.

What did we think? Our Review:

This tent arrived well packaged and in excellent condition. It is pretty heavy, so if you cannot lift all the weight in one, it might be an idea to separate the parts for easier manoeuvring of the tent.

On site, we unpacked the tent and found it came complete with some heavy duty pegs, all poles and detailed instructions.

After a quick read through the instructions we were straight to work, and although I had a friend with me, I could easily have done this on my own. It's an incredibly easy tent to erect.

Firstly choose a starting point and peg out the ground sheet at that point and then work your way round the groundsheet going from pegging point to pegging point. Once the groundsheet ended up nice and tight and smooth, it was ready for the main centre pole to go up, which is spring loaded so easy to put together.

There are no guide holes for the main pole, however it is very straightforward and you can easily tell where the middle of the groundsheet and canvas are. With the pole pushed in to position the tent was starting to take shape. It comes complete with poles to create the entrance / porch and these clip together and slot in to the guidehole above the doorway and into the pouches on the floor to stop the poles from sliding. On the main pole there is a hanging point for your lighting.

From here we then pegged out all the guylines and this created the awesome looking bell tent shape. This tent does not take very long to put up and should be easily managable by somebody camping on their own.

The groundsheet is fully zipped in and the zips can be undone and the groundsheet detached from the main canvas. This makes it ideal for those hot days and you can open it all up to allow airflow through. If you do not wish to fully unzip and open the bottom of the tent, there are mesh windows that you can unzip to allow light and some of the breeze to get through.
