Steak Stew

Steak Stew (serves 4 hungry people)
Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 1 carrot
- 1 red pepper
- Handful of mushrooms
- 2 tins of stewing steak
- 1 large tin of new potatoes
- Large slug of red wine
- Salt and pepper and mixed herbs
- Gravy Granules

Cooking Instructions
1) Peel and chop one onion and one carrot,
2) Dice one red pepper and some mushrooms,
3) Throw into hot oil in a big pot and cook until softened,
4) Add two tins of stewing steak, one large tin of new potatoes (rinsed) a large
slug of red wine, salt and pepper, plus some mixed herbs if you've got them.,
5) Cook, stirring when you remember, until heated through,
6) Add a tbsp or so of gravy granules, stir until thickenedServe up with the
rest of the bottle of red and some crusty bread!
