OK, merrilegs you've got at least me confused here!
Calor used to do a 4.5Kg BUTANE (Blue cylinder), or a 3.9Kg PROPANE (Red cylinder), they have both been discontinued since Jan 2023, and save any old stock in distributors, you will NEVER find a refill! ..... But no 4.5Kg PROPANE (think they may have done one many many years ago, but not for a very long time)!!!!
https://www.calor.co.uk/news-and-views/press-release-cylinder-range
I believe there may be 4.5kg Propane cylinders from some of the continental suppliers, but you will never get a refill in UK, only in the country of origin!
The solution to the Calor issue is either go to a larger cylinder, next one up is 6kg Propane, which whilst continuing in production is often hard to find because of production/distribution issues which Calor have had over past few years!
Many people who have gas locker size restrictions and can't accomodate a 6Kg cylinder are going over to FloGas 3.9Kg Propane/4.5Kg Butane clinders or even the 5kg Gaslight cylinders.
https://www.flogas.co.uk/shop/category/all-cylinders
But be warned, the cylinders are NOT the same dimensions as Calor's similar capacity ones, so check they will fit your locker INCLUDING the diameter of the well that the cylinder sits in! Dimensions on Flogas web site.
Probably NOT wise to follow Calor's advice to use a Campingaz 907 if you really need a small dimension cylinder, they are BUTANE so only suitable for summer use, and only 2.76Kg capacity, BUT astronomically expensive compared to every other form of bottled gas on a £s per Kg of gas basis!!!!!
As to hose coupling compatibility, the alternative cylinders have a variety of couplings depending on the cylinder you choose and may require changing, but if your gas hose is more than or approaching 5 years old it is due for a change anyway, and a new hose is only a few pounds, so not the end of the world and a good safety measure.

Thank you for the info everyone, we will check locker size. We would need to buy our first Flogas bottle, is this what you are calling a new contract. What do we do with our obsolete butane and propane bottles?
Yes, BUT really worth searching ebay, FB marketplace, gumtree etc. for a s/h one at MUCH reduced cost rather than paying contract fee! You don't need any paperwork to get a refill, just a suitable exchange cylinder.
I got a selection of Flogas cylinders off Freegle at no cost at all! I only really wanted the Gaslight one but had to take the lot, some had a little gas in, so will do for BBQ etc. before selling on.
Thanks to Calor really messing up the market for all, be aware that due to high demand Flogas were only doing like for like refill replacements, rather than their standard mix and match 'group' refills as is normal practice, worth checking if that policy is still in place before getting a cylinder in the group and expecting to exchange it for the different one you really want!
