It hangs under the main bed boards. The hooks on the top go over the edge of the board. I've never found that satisfactory and have instead drilled 4 small holes in each corner of the bed board, then push the loops for hanging it through the holes and then push a matchstick through the loop for it to hang from.
Also suggest a small tarp under the pup tent so the bottom stays clean and dry, it makes it so much easier to pack away.
