Dont you think more "Good Deeds" should be made public....Cases of people helping each other just for the sake of it...Would help the "Feelgood" mentality(Sometimes sadly lacking in this country) to soar......Just a shame..that Good Samaratins seem to do their deeds quietly and without fuss..while ignorant..mean spirited people make headlines...

Jelboy.

Hi Everyone x

Well I couldn't wait to get home after work last night to go and open the camper

and OMG  its beautiful!!!! We're so happy - THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU xxx I took some photos last night of Ollie posing in it and would to share them with you wonderful people xx

You guys have made me feel so special and please don't think I have ignored any of you by not replying to your further offers of equipment etc but this WHOLE EXPERIENCE has been totally out of this world to me!!! I am kind and honest person that would help anyone out too but I had sometimes (albeit wrongly) thought that we had become a selfish culture and nation but I am overjoyed to be proved wrong! There are bits I would love for the camper but I feel selfish in asking for anymore. If you truly have items that you want to offload - i will try to make a list but please I do not want anyone making any special purchases xx also ... I am aware that there other people who could also benefit from some help so cannot we not get a pool of items together and see what happens???

I feel I have made many friends thru this experience and have gained so much - you ALL sound like great people - Ollie and I can't wait to meet you xx Biddenden is not far away and I will be there and Lickhill and Spalding!!

The sun is shining and I am dreaming of becoming a weekend gypsy - with my lovely new camper my dreams have come true xx

Hope everyone is happy - I certainly am - anyone that wants to chat (evenings and weekends only coz of work though please!!) please feel free to contact me anytime ok? xx

Funny you were talking about the paper I have toying with the idea with approaching the Kent Messenger but did not want to seem pretentious xx

Speak to you all soon xx

Lots of Love Sammie xx and Ollie xx

Now you've made me cry again!  so glad you are having fun you deserve it. I do hope the person that sold you the original camper has been reading this thread and feels suitably ashamed!!!

Please do post a list of what you need, I have stuff that needs to be got rid of - case of me buying stuff when I see it then realising I don't really need it and it won't fit in anyway!!! would then save us all asking you what you want! and then we can give you the stuff you need.

Now you MUST come to a meet, we'd love to meet you and Ollie, and I've said this before, but I'll say it again, YOU ARE ALL TOTAL STARS

Debbym

I agree with Debby - please post a list of what you need and we can pass on those spare bits and pieces we all have gathering dust.  It is very difficult for us to know what is on your personal list of 'needs' as we all have different essentials for camping!!  I hope you and Ollie have many happy holidays in the Pullman.

Sammie,

Glad that you are happy with the tent. We hoped that you wouldnt be disappointed after all the excitement. Have you got to grips with putting it all up? - I used to leave that bit to Mike and not sure if I'd be able to do it myself!!

looking forward to meeting you both at Lickhill. Matthew is looking forward to meeting Ollie too and his old trailer tent.

See you soon, Rachel.

Amazing !  just read a link on the Conway Owners Club site and have spent the last hour reading this thread.

Congratulations to you all for showing that there are still people out there who will do a good turn for nothing but the pleasure it brings to others.

I hope you all enjoy this years camping especially Sammie and Ollie, and many more to come.

D & J

Hi CruiserFC and a very warm welcome to ukcampsite. The good turns done on this site are a regular thing but this one I think went beyond all our expectations. It just brings a lump to your throat. Really does prove that caravanners and campers are just a great bunch of people!

Hi velvateen

just seen your plight in the forum have u tried the conway oners club, it is on web just type conwayowners and it will let u in. have only just joined them myself, but have found them very helpful, and if any one can help they will. dont despair as any thing can be fixed, if u have enough friends behind u like clubs and friendly people, and isee that we have a lot on this site. hope u find some one to help u keep us all posted.
