Sorry forgot to visit yesterday. Yup. Sold it to people that came to look yesterday. We were tempted to hold out and see if it went for more, but to be honest I really liked the couple that came round and as they say "a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush" and all that.
Funny isn't it. The way they seemed by email was exactly how they were and they spent around two hours with us on Friday afternoon and it was a really pleasant afternoon.
Bit sad to see it go, but I just know we were not going to get full use out of it. Shall put the money into my motorhome fund.
By the way we got what we paid for it 3 years ago. Not a bad investment really. Free holidays almost for the last 3 years.
Not really sure why I am speaking to you too let alone feeling pleased for you. However glad it worked out ok Neelie and good luck Andy. Looking good now Andy!
------------- Good friends are hard to find, difficult to leave and impossible to forget.
Sorry Jan to be jumping ship, but with an OH that works for an airline that gives us free flights each year and the option to 10% of the normal fare, camping will be taking a back seat for a while. Want to see a bit more of the world.
I really did find it too noisy as well.
Maybe when I have a motorhome (dream on) I will find that little piece of paradise.
Hey I've still got the little camping stove, the blow up air beds at least four foot pumps (cos I kept leaving them behind!), cool box, enough perspex crockery to feed an army, camping cooking utensils, etc etc. All I gotta do is buy a decent size tent should the fancy ever take me.
