The new Pathfinder has a longer cupboard opposite the kitchen and so a smaller bench seat, so no, the bench wouldn't be long enough to sleep anybody. I believe the new Crusader has kept the longer seat/shorter cupboard which can make up a single birth.
It's nice to see Pennine differentiating the two models slightly; There's only three of us so we find the bigger cupboard more useful
me too i also have a crusader and think it is brill it takes me about 20 mins to build and about an hour with the awnig it very easy to tow and easy to store
Hi we own a conway cruiser, we have trouble erecting it with the centre poles, then when we fold it down sometimes the beds do not go all the way in,as the centre poles have not gone down properly, does any one else have this problem. jackie
they are virtually the same camper have you not thought of looking at other possibilities??? If you do a search you will see this has been discussed extensively before.
I am currently selling a Conway Crusader as we didn't use it as much as we thought we would. Hubby works for an airline and cheap travel etc etc.
I loved it but hubby wasn't so keen. I usually went away with my daughter on our own and managed to put the whole thing up on my own. i am only .5' 2" and the wrong side of 50 but I managed OK.
The only thing I never got the hang of was reversing the ruddy thing onto the pitch straight. Usually gave up and got out looking helpless until some kind soul would offer to reverse it in for me. A couple of times I just unhooked it and womanhandled it into position with daughter's assisance.
I will miss it I know, but I found campsites just too noisy and crowded for me.
I haven't tried a Pathfinder but I am told they are slightly easier to put up, but not sure. Internally they were identical save for the fancy clock on the cupboard on the Pathfinder and the fact that one bed was slighly smaller than the other. Oh and yes they are usually different colours each model year.
???People often suggest searching on previous threads......It was not meant to be unhelpful Jan.... this topic has been covered a number of times and it may help to search back. I suggest the title as it is would kick up a number of replys....

Only once. You have to ensure that when de tensioning the hoizontal bars that they are pushed all the way so that the spring clip engages into the hole - locking it in the de tensioned position. Then make sure the canvas is unclipped from under the beds and push the front bed in first.
Thanks for that mike, the only thing is that when you lock it into the detensioned position is that the spring holes further away from the centre poles, or the ones nearer the centre pole, i know i sound a bit dense, but it is confusing me completely, thanks jackie
