Hi I am new to trailer tents and have just bought a secondhand Sunncamp 400Se (1998/99).  I have no instuctions or diagrams on how to erect the awning, can anyone please help?

Also, I have managed to setup the sleeping areas, but the frame seems a bit unsteady!  Is there anyway of locking the frame in place once you have extended the frame (that allow the sleeping compartments to fold out).

I know I sound like a complete novice, but this is my first attemp at using a trailer tent.

 Have just sent a copy that was sent to me last week., hope they help, we replaced our poles this year and when we go in 3 weeks we will have to go off numbers on poles .  OH help, not the easiest tent to put up , but fab when once erect.

Hey Paul,

dont forget when the frame is pegged down and guide wires fitted its not going anywhere! We have just got back from Newquay where we had spells of teorrential rain and sunny days and our 400 SE performed admirably with only a tiny leak where the awning zips to the trailer tent and this was only because the outer zip cover was not laying down over the zip!

Thanks for the instructions, they made things a lot easier.  we had a dry run in the garden, and managed to assemble everything in 1 & 1/2 hrs.

We are hoping to get away to Matlock, but most sites are booked up.  Can anyone recommend any decent sites around that area?

Bob, you are right, once we pegged the tent down, it was as sturdy as a rock.
