All I can say Jan is if I am ever in the same field as you, come for a visit.... and inspect and compare so to speak. There are air vents built into the Dandy and it is recommended by the manufacturere that you leave the windows open a crack... in fact there is a setting specifically for this purpose. It is not completely air tight.. I am experimenting with cake making in the double skillett at the moment so you might get a sample too....
I am not saying there is zero.... boiling pasta open lidded eg.. but it is a comfortable environment... Yeh okay they do look eccentric, quaint/odd depending on your standpoint.. the idea sounds completely mad... but they work. I am not knocking canvas.. I have had canvas tents they have real charm and smell lovely. However now reached that point I do not want to deal with the dry out routine, been there got the T shirt.. want something easy and comfortable.
