Hi
Forget the mallet take a club hammer. We use a bucket for the waste water out of the sink. We also use duvets not sleeping bags the kids seem more comfortable like that and I can air them out in the day if need be. A decent table and benches we had one of those £20 ones and it was useless you have to lower yourself down very carefully and if the ground is wet they can pierce your ground sheet. Always hot water bottles. We also take a halogen heater one of the ones which has a cut off if it falls over, these cool almost immediately so are fairly safe. Apack of playing cards. Duck tape and WD40.
Definately a sense of humour, setting up can be a bit stressful without it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
