ours is stored out side but underneath a purpose made "car port" style cover, everything is left in the unit, i cover the travel cover in old sleepingbags and several used duvet covers, this takes off the cold effect of the tarp on travel cover, then have it covered with a heavy duty tarp`,no problems .

I feel so sorry for anyone that opens up their pride and joy to find damp, but I feel a bit guilty too reading how well everyone takes care and precautions against damp, mildew and other nasties.

We opened our hardtop camper for the first time today since October last year, it's been sat exposed on my parents drive with no winter cover or Tarp on it since we baught it in September last year. It was absolutely covered in Snow the other week. When I first popped the top up and looked in I thought it was damp but on further inspection our 1970's Starcraft Starlite 1606 seems to have survived there was a little dribble of water that appears to have come from the channel on the lip of the roof, and the black mark turned out to be flecks of paint.

PHEEEW!!!!
