I'm new to forums and am finding this a bit confusing! I'd like to have a look at the camp-lets for sale here but can't find the for sale area. Bernie has one in Warrington and I'd be interested in looking at that if it's still for sale.
We have a Concorde too, went to Camperlands to buy the basic model - Apollo, but the Concorde is better as it is slightly bigger and has the underbed storage, wardrobe and you can add an annex if you like.
We love ours, and on a recent trip (only our 2nd go) our neigbours on the next pitch, were so impressed how fast we had it up etc, we gave them a full tour, they have now gone out and brought one too!!!!
We had the gas assist, and I still found the trailer quite hard to open, though it would be fair to say I haven't been fully fit in a long time. The other thing is getting the canvas up, which is ok for one person if there is no wind, but I'm not sure I could do it alone if it was windy.
They are great trailer tents though, you get a lot in a very compact package, and they are very well made. We've swapped to a Jametic this year because its a bit bigger and has a zip in groundsheet, but we've stuck with the same style because we are very happy with it.
We love our camplet bought in for the 2009 season and managed 50 nights away! We are a family of 4
We have gas assisted struts but I know i wouldn't be able to manage on my own and it normally takes 2 to close it, i sit in it while my OH locks the clasp!

Yes thats true!
The lid is still heavy even with the gas struts, first time we used ours, I tried to open it and did my back in, thought it was the bed and went out and brought a mattress topper, now realise that it was from lifting the lid! But then again the bed is lovely and comfy with the topper! lol.
I now let my hubby open it, I help (a bit) by standing at the towbar end.
I can't believe how many camp-lets there are for sale on here (free ads) some bargains to be had, big savings compared to what they sell for in the dealers, wish we had of waited?!

Hi, I'm looking at a camp-let royal on ebay which is at a start price of £800 even though it's 12 yrs old ... do you think a woman on her own can put one up without help?
I had an older Camp-let Royal model and definitely couldn't open it on my own. But it was OK with my (then) 12 yr old son to help. The gas struts on the newer models make a big difference IMHO.
