I have on order with camperlands a fully waterproof bucket groundsheet made by camperlands for the camp-let.They are making a batch ready for the nec in feb.I plan to do the same ,put the bucket groundsheet down 1st if the ground is horrible and then put my camp-let carpet on top.Most of the time I just use the camp-let carpet but last August I had a river coming through my tent so for 2010 I am prepared for all weathers.

I really struggled to decide whether to go with the sewn in groundsheet or go with the hard-top ......  in the end opted for the Camplet, but a bucket type groundsheet could be just the ticket!!

They only told me about it because I asked for a PVC groundsheet to go under my carpet for really bad weather.The guy explained to me that camp-let have these in stock but were daft money.He then showed me a sample of the material they are using and introduced me to their sewing guy who at the time was making a cover for a boat(nice guy  i think he was french).Really hard wearing blue material so it can go onto a hard standing\rough ground if required.I dealt with a guy called Dominic who was realy helpful.

They told me they should be around £60.00 for standard pvc or £100.00 for the boat cover material.The  camp-let alternative would of been about £145 so that is why they are making them in house.
