yes they do go to bed section and they hagin on wall and we leave ours an trailer

Does anyone who has the ikea slats used them in the lhs and do they stay in place when closing the trailer or do they need to be attached in some way.

I use them on the Lt hand side. I tuck the longer bits leftover when you take the cushions off under the cushion that's left on and they stay in place pretty well.

Ikea here I come then. When I sold my twin axle caravan I never thought there would be as much to learn about a tt. Camplet is much quicker to set up than sorting out an awning on that size of caravan. Do you use camping mats under the slats or do you find the slats effective at stopping condensation on their own.

They help,but insulation under is better,3 or 4 cheapo camping mats would work.However,it's then possible to get condensation UNDER the insulation,but at least it's easier to dry than the mattress.

Thanks. I think I may have some camping mats stored somewhere. I will try these with slats on top. If this doesn't work then I may invest in some drymat next year as this seems to work on boats. Great forum by the way.

Which Ikea slats are people buying. There are completely flat ones or there are curved ones.
