Another one here  . Been 'tent' camping most of my life, bought our first TT last year & would never to back to a 'normal' tent...  Luv  it..

Look at the 'no peg' models, we just changed to one for this year .

Only need to peg if you want the awning up.

And of course, if you look at older Dandys, you dont need to worry about getting home with wet canvas and having to dry it out

No. You have to worry about drying out wet PVC instead...

PVC doesn't breathe like canvas does. The breathability of canvas is one of the advantages of trailer tents as far as I am concerned (obviously canvas frame tents also have this, but they're less comfortable and convenient).

deffo...we left our tent in the lakes last year because of the rain. it was so bad my wife went and slept in the car...today we came back from camping in our trailer tent for the first time...i have just spent the last 4 days trying to get sleeping beauty out of bed...we love it already.
