no i just looked at the p and o site the crossing is for the 21.00 crossing on 26.7.2005 and included a cabin for 2 adults and 1 child coming back 2 wks later on a friday so they are usually the most expensive times to cross.  but we only live 2 hrs away so hubby just has to finish work at the right time know what i mean ladies?

Just another bit of news for you all too. :o)

I know the ferry times are an unearthly hour. BUT What we have done is booked 18 days rather than 14. That way we dont lose any holiday time through travel. So we are also planning a stop before the travel south. In france they do these Formule 1's which are like our travel lodges BUT these are the v v basic/cheapo ones. But who cares as lonf as you can eat sleep and wash. Anyway I have looked them up and they are about 16 quid for the night.

HTH

that is all very well but what if you cant take 18 days off work.   we will be struggling to take 14 as my hubby has just changed his job so with a lot of luck he will have 18.8 days! by  that time that is if he doesnt have to take time off for other reasons
