Hi all
Just to throw in my two-pennorth worth! We brought Claude (as we named our Quickstop) just under 2 years ago. We have learnt, through trial and error, the best way that works for us to put the awning up.
1. Don't try it in windy conditions!!
2. Unless you are 7' tall, zip the awning onto the front of the trailer BEFORE fully extending the trailer roof!
3. Then throw the awning backwards over the trailer roof whilst you put the poles up, then just carefully pull it forwards over the frame.
4. The first time you successfully put the awning up, LABEL or colour code the poles because you may think you'll remember, if its dark and/or raining things don't always go as planned!
We love our Claude - put him up last weekend for a clean out and airing in early preparation for the 2011 season.
Happy camping everyone.
