Ha ha no i am a big softy, i cant stand being cold it makes me miserable so all the tips are good, i like the idea of the hot water bottles i had never thought of that!!!

We're taking the TT away at Easter. The only thing on my mind is the time we moved house on 28th April and it was deep deep snow.

Ah well - fortune favours the brave.

As mentioned Easter is late this year so it will be a bit warmer, we have been away many Easters from when the children were 1. Its been dry but cold during the day and down to about 2 deg at night but with a 3 season bag, fleece liner and blanket we have all been snug as a bug

recently easter better than august for fair weather, get ehu for fan heater go to bed in trackies and hat, hot water bottle warm drinks good lighting as goes dark earlier, it is my fave time of year we have done in caravan and about to do in tt, my hubby oes mad but i have duvet under over and sleeping ba the marshmallow effect makes it comfy cosy i just kid him i'll take less clothes. we have a radiator style fan heater thing that clicks in and out and is fab for bed, for the awning we have the orange glow heatre £7 not at same time though!!! dress for snow and enything else is a bonus layerin layering.

Me and missus off for our first camp of the year, 9-11th March. This will be our first trip in the Carhdinal too, but with EHU and low level fitted heating system should be fine. Fingers crossed!

Just back from first ever trip in countryman. Used 13.5 tog duvet and microfleece blanket. Also had mock sheepskin mattress covers. Used heater on 1kw setting overnight and were nice and toasty. Warm your Pjs before you put them on though!! Next trip planned for easter ourselves. have fun

that's heartening we off beginning march too first time in a tt from caravan just got it last night dead excited pleased with quality for 150!! i love the sheepskin matress cover idea where from?

We go off on Easter Sunday for 2 months swanning around France. Last year we were in Rouen on May 3 and it was -1 centigrade. I hope this heatwave you are all predicting for this year, does arrive.

Easter last year was at C&CC Site at Slindon, T Shirt weather & a cardy during the late afternoon! - It was warmer than when we went in the August  

Night time we got the chill out of the air with a small butane heater and a large brandy or two

matress covers were from dunelm mill but other places do sell them
