Hi I have a twenty year old base of folding camper Stirling pennine model that has electrics sink pump everything in working order cleaning the cushions unfortunately the canvas has gone I cannot afford the grand for a new canvas so could I sell it for parts it's 6 berth any advice also inner electric for hook up spare tyres electrics all fine I desperately want to keep it but not enough for canvas
That's what got me started in the first place. I had a 1997 Pennine Sterling, but I was missing the wardrobe and kitchen shelf unit. Pennine wanted £800 to replace them, and, of course, they wouldn't have matched. I found an identical camper on eBay, won it for £225, took out the wardrobe and shelf for mine, plus a load of extra spares then sold the rest on eBay. got about £800 all in, including about £170 for the 3 way fridge and £150 for the chassis, which went to a local guy, who builds tear drop trailers. Definitely worth doing.

hi im thinking of selling my 4 birth creighton binns trailer tent does any one know best place to sell these wanting a newer type trailor tent any advice welcome thankyou
Foe me, it's eBay every time. I buy from Preloved, Gumtree etc, but I find eBay is the best way to maximise return. Other sites you just set a sale price, and it can be difficult to guage if it is too high or too low, especially with something a little less common like a Creighton Binns. You just set a starting price of whatever you are prepared to take (better than setting a reserve price, which costs extra) and, if it goes for that, you've not lost out on what you would have got on one of the other sites, but the majority of the ones I sell go for a lot more. I will normally put something like a Pennine Aztec up for £999, which I would be happy with, but, by the time bidding ends, they are, normally at £1,200 - £1,500, on average.
