Agree with all the replies so far. We find we take more for 2 dogs than we take for us!
I bought one of those cheap plastic boxes with lid and I bung everything in there for the mutts. Includes:
Delta dog tethers, and the tethers themselves, 2 short dog leads, 2 long flexi leads (ideal for walks where they can't be let off but can have some freedom), 2 spare collars (we have been known to break them whilst on holiday), a pile of old dog towels for drying down after wet walks, throws & blankets to protect furniture in camper, dog food bowls, dog water bowls, dog food fork, dog treats, a brush, a roll of Tesco value swing bin liners (ideal for dog poo bags), dog toys & balls, Piriton tablets (one time on holiday our dog had allergic reaction to bee sting), torch, a whistle and a clicker.
I also take an old blanket/towel to place over the step going into the camper which picks up most of the muddy paw prints before they go into the camper itself.
Dog baskets for the awning after walks.
My two also have a waterproof. coat each. When it's torrential, to save them getting extremely wet they wear their coats.
