We've had ours for 4 years now. It is a little small in wet weather, though son number 1 now sleeps in a pup tent, but abroad its a completely different experience in the sun, when you don't need the table inside etc. Overall we still love her and she suits our needs hard top to stop the mice getting in, easy to tow and put up.

My camplet classic trailer tent was a nightmare from the first trip! Definitely my worst buy!! Bought from camperlands in Manchester, and the customer service was horrendous. !!
Main problems I had were;
Sink bar repeatedly opened in transit- causing hours of frustration trying to open the trailer tent on arrival. Ended up having to tie it in place!
Cut my hand repeatedly on razor sharp metal inside cupboard! - not safe with small grand children.
Hooks holding awning in place not strong enough, repeatedly stretching and clipping off.
Finally the kitchen fell off in transit warping the metal! It was held on by only two screws which were finger tight.
I had to repeat the 6 hour round trip to take it back, and after 5 days was told the problems were my fault entirely, and camplet was not at fault!! After a long battle, I ended up trading it back at a loss if £2500 plus the cost of awning extension which was completely ignored
No I would never trade with camperlands again, never consider a camplet, and will go back to my beloved raclet silent as soon as I have recovered from this nasty experience.
This topic is over six years old if you look at the dates of the previous postings.
You do not say when you purchased the trailer tent, but if you were not satisfied with the response you got from Camperlands and the trailer tent had unresolved issues, I would certainly not have handed over in excess of £2,500 without a very long battle.
It seems to be the case now that certain companies will always try to fob off customers who have complaints, and unfortunately many customers give up without a fight so they win.
Believe me I tried! I was furious, and even went to trading standards, but because I had only phoned ( many many times) and returned it only once for repairing, not twice , they said he was within his rights. I was stuck and had zero faith in the trailer by then.
It might have been a good idea to start a new thread, Suey57.
Can I just ask, did you buy a new unit from Camperlands? Reason I ask is, I believe you instantly forfeit the VAT, which will be a big part of the £2500 loss.
That said, it sounds like you've had a really poor experience. I hope it hasn't put you off camping.
