old plastic sheet to kneel on when doing front corner steadies (saves wet knees if grass damp) and finally the gas spanner!
Hi Alan ... if you use a cordless drill and steadies winder bit, you won't have to kneel at all ... and it's very quick. Of course, you do have to carry a cordless drill ... but that can be useful for other things, too!

Could you get awning poles in with gas bottles in there?
We store EHU cables (2) plus French adaptor & Polarity reversing link cable, water pump, Aqua Roll handle, water puump & waste pipe, toilet fluid, battery top up fluid, wheel chocks, corner steady winder, wheel & hitch lock, old plastic sheet to kneel on when doing front corner steadies (saves wet knees if grass damp) and finally the gas spanner!
The front locker on the cruiser is massive poles fit in easy
Ah, greasychipbutty, but was that a true Conway Cruiser or a Pennine one, ours was a Pennine, and looks a bit tight with the other stuff I have in there and the bottles. i can imagine the original conway ones had a bit more room.
Kelper, I have been thinking along those lines, but OH keeps saying "thats another thing to carry arounsd" Also Pleastic sheet is the old cover for by Honda 125 and now doubles up as a push bike cover.
Yes Alan it,s a conway made by Conway 1999 model but still in good nick.I know I am stepping between 2 forums Alan, but have you had a look at the "Conway Owners" forum, for your water heater problem? It is a great forum with loads of information and spec on all Conway campers of all years.
Computer stupid,so I can,t post a link but just google "Conway owners" and it will appear
cheers GCB

Because we use Peggypegs, the drill is necessary anyway ... so ... two birds with one missile!
