Thanks for that travel bug , But I am very wary of second hand things like this.

You can weight that's sit on the winch weights line so if the line snaps it help to hold it down. I can't remember the technical name, or can find them but the do exist.

We bought one of these winchs for our TT
winch

Put some eyelets where i want to winch to and works a treat...slow but works!

Oh the hand winch!!!!!! NOOOO WAYYYYY   WE want an electric or 12 volt, I have crook leg ( POOR OLD LADY) and we are in the wrinkly brigade now and well over 65 so hand winch ? no thanks lol Yvonne x
