I know the man near us said it will go, but I never thought of the basket hitting it as mine now has 2 cracks in it.
I've thought about doing what you said sunnygra.
Did you extend the waste pipe?
------------- Up there for thinking, down there for dancing. 😎
yes MrT007 i used a waste 22mm joint and a new end sealing ring plus about 2foot of pipe. Just took the plughole out of the second sink and fed the pipe through, with enough slack to push on to the main sink from through the drop down cupboard. Removing the plastic sink next and replacing it with a bit of wood with the right size hole.
Your still at risk for a flood though, stupid set up that sink was. Every time you pull the plug, wondering if its gonna overflow,no thanks not anymore.
Just had to replace the funnel/mini sink on my 2014 Q6. Sink cracked due to in cupboard basket impact with wast pipe. Sink easy to replace and a couple of dabs of silicon on basket runners limit it's travel and prevent contact with drain pipe. Poor design and poor quality component.
