We have the safari chef, just got it a few weeks ago.

We decided on a gas one for quickness. After we're out we the kids, we just turn it on - cook and it's done. No waiting for charcoal to heat up etc.

I know, it's not 'proper' BBQ'ing, (we do charcoal at home though), but we're just thinking more practical.

Boiled eggs? The lids can be used as a wok, or a normal pan.

We have a Safari Chef in the shed, its great for a full English or as an extra burner, but there are more compact ways of achieving those things. For BBQing we much prefer the Cobb we bought later, that goes on every trip, but I can't remember the last time we used the Safari Chef.

Used our safari chef 1st time this month,off propane,excellent,other half likes it,I like it,happy wife ,happy life.
