LOL - or worrying about mould on the canvas after a damp pack, no seriously, I wish it were possible to replace the canvas with something like the acrylic matreials used in some awnings. I had a Pennine Pullman, and lost the canvas after a damp winter. The last two days of almost every trip was spent worrying about the weather on pack day, on how we could not go home until the dew and condensation had dried etc. I wish the material was something like that found on the Dandy, but lighter and breathable. Or something simply rot or mould proof would do.

Unfortunately opening once home to dry out is sadly not an option for me, so this is a serious mod.

I do agree that it is possible to spoil a lovely holiday by fretting over the weather  - I'd settle for accurate forcasts. 

As for losing the canvas through a damp winter - you don't say how long ago this was but we've had a few damp winters since we got out Pathfinder and bubble wrap and a winter storage cover appears to be the answer there.

Jan - I reckon you could charge for your facility - Barn - I would certainly pay a fee to get the unit dried out properly - a little distant is Herefordshire but if there's anyone in the Wakefield/Huddersfield area with a nice dry corner please post on here

Have just had a look at the picture on my gallery and wondered what loked odd - iI forgot to mention that due to the heat in France last year I made mosquito curtains for all the windows and we went doorless for quite some time this year - we were cooler and didn't get bitten.  Tape at the top and elastic rings at the bottom.
