Dont sell it.........

You have the option to use it or not....if you sell it thats it gone....

Our Globetrotter has a massive awning, approx 6 metres by 2.5 metres.....brilliant for the kids when its raining and also when its too hot and they need some shade to play in.....

Takes us about half an hour for the awning to go up, most of that time is hammering the pegs in.

I found this video when looking into the task of putting up the awning. (I know it is onto a caravan but you get the idea).
Have to say it really is not as bad as some people make out. On a windy day it can be a bit testing but i have done it on my own on a calmer day.
We have got it down to about 30 mins including fully pegged out. Just remember to tell each other how much you love each other before you start and don't get stressy!!! seems to work for us (at least we have a good laugh before we start).

The extra space is a must for us (2 adults and 2 kids) I think you will be making a big mistake selling it. Plus you can pick up a reasonable porch awning from £50 if you wait on Ebay for the right one then you would be like Lobey with the best of both worlds on offer to you

What do you mean it's too cold to go camping? :)

Thanks all for the advice and the link. I think once I've put it up I'll be fine, I've certainly been given confidence that it won't take as long as I thought it would although I can imagine a few sweary words will be uttered the first time it goes up, and I will chill a bottle of wine as motivation/reward!
