Caravans are a different matter, they are insulated a little when it comes to sound, which is a good job when the oldies are up and about at 2am,stomping off to the loo in their hobnails and shouting for their Sanatogen. Even then, caravan TV is often heard,I assume the tin tenters think we can't hear them. So,verandah poles, yes, the frame is easily strong enough, and wireless head phones.

Duct tape is silver
We take a 8" TV just for the weather forecast, so we can plan for the next day.

For us our fortnight campings down on the Cote d Azur, would not be complete without our 1m Satellite Dish and Receiver, 15" telly with wireless audio headphone set up.
I put the 15" tv on top of the cupboard in my pathfinder, if i did not have tv with me for late nights it then takes me several hours to catch up when i get back hone at end off holiday. I have a plastic bracket on the outside next to battery box where the ariel clamps onto.
We have a very large Outwell Nevada tent. We take our TV every time we camp. We place it on a three shelf kitchen camping cupboard. 19inch of wonderful viewing every night! We always take our Beats headphones as to disturb no-one. Like Francais said, each to their own!lol

At the moment we put it away at the end of the day and set it up on the kitchen unit when we want to watch it but are trying to find a way of "wall mounting" it from the main frame. Anyone done this or any suggestions how to get round this ???
Thanks
Don't put yourself to all the bother. Just park beside somebody who has a really big one, and then watch theirs in a mirror, or through a really large window.
However you must bring a few remotes. They will get so annoyed watching the channel change, they will eventually give up and you can just watch what you want. Then at bedtime when they pull the curtains, turn it off until they open them again. Only jesting.
The quick release one advertised directly below this on ebay is the best.
