The irony is you take the trouble to go and see it then later you see it listed with no time wasters or tyre kickers please etc. You bid to buy.

I've learned the hard way not to trust what anyone says, we have taken people at their word driven 400 miles round trip bought in good faith and later found damp. We now only buy from dealers ( only ones with great reports) with guarantee. Picking up a carousel next week from Gobur serviced and 12 month cover, costs a lot more but piece of mind.

Just got back from another viewing.

Trailer tent was described as having 'no damage'. The canvas was nice but the poles had been badly twisted and all the button holes were stretched and had some sharp edges, also they were all really badly tarnished (what's going on with Cabanon quality - it was never like this on the old style of TTs!).

Seller wouldn't re-negotiate so we left it.

lidds0, I can supply new poles if you come across it again. If the whole arch is twisted when putting up the tent this will happen(ie not lifted squarely). The cost is £15 a section (6 x sections = 1 arch).
