We've got a Conway Challenger, not as fancy as some, but managed to set up in around 10 minutes the first time out and haven't regretted getting it. Hoping for some dry weather during the first two weeks of October so we can have more than the two one nighters we've had since getting the camper . May need to take a heater with us though
Parents are lined up for us too and trying a few local storage places. Seems that most of the towbar fitters are busy round here to, but our car is having it's towbar fitted on Wednesday.
Found ours on Ebay after an almost obsessive search by the other half..... Nowhere seems to sell FC's around here apart from Highbridge Caravans which had mostly newer stuff.

We are struggling too, especially ones that aren't the other side of the country ! Good examples are flying off and ones that have been on the shelf a while I am suspicious of, no rush though, we'll get one eventually !
Funny time to buy at the moment being end of season. Quite a few for sale but soon the prices will drop like a stone and they will all disappear until next spring.
Things that are starting to wind me up are people using other people's photo's and only manufacturer photos and using other people descriptions. Then when you email for actual photo's they say they don't have any !
I'm not gonna drive 2hrs to view something if they can't even be arsed to show the basics ! It's only when you start looking you notice how many people do this !

Well i've thrown caution to the wind and put a deposit down on a 2007 Pennine Pullman and I'm going to pick it up on Friday. Can't wait for it's first use in the Oct half term, children (8 and 3) are really excited too.
Coming from a tent I'm sure that we'll enjoy the extra luxury and quick pitching although there is always the potential for a divorce with the awning!
We'll cross the storage hurdle when it comes, no free drives....or space for that matter.
