On the pull man there was a switch fitted on the seating end on the cooker/sink base cupboard with a light on which actually said water heater, put it down and switch illuminated.

Marg6 on the Pennine Pullman the switch is where I said and the heater is underneath the seat the pathfinder may be different I have never owned one, I did however have the Pennine Pullman for 5 years and before that a Pennine fiesta, the switch on the wardrobe base was a rocker switch for the charger ie camper or car.

yes kp I know that, but I'm talking about the switch for the water pump, not the water heater, the water pump needs to be turned on swo she can bleed the air out before turning on the water heater

Marg6 I know that on the Pullman it was a microswitch on the tap which worked the pump in the aquaroll hence the reason I said about the 12volt connected like a cigarette lighter plug, providing you have got the 12 volt power switch on then the microswitch on the tap acts as the pump, if you do not have a handbook go to www.blueskyholdings.co.uk and download one for your particular model Tiddy272

kp yes there will be a micro switch in the tap, but if the power to turn that switch isn't turned on by the doorway it wont matter one bit whether its a micro tap or pressure fed tap! I feel that the OP hasn't turned the said switch on by the door in the first place and hence why they cant hear any pump noises, until they turn that on and follow the instructions I gave earlier to the letter then we are just second guessing what else could be wrong

oh that flick switch thing? the yellow tab under the seat by the water heater it needs to be in the laid flat (closed) position or any water your pump moves will just flow out of the heater and onto the floor

Thanks all for the advice on info I've been playing with I the last couple of days an still can't find a power switch just turn on the water pump...cold one works okay etc checked all tpieces on pipe work etc, it just sound's like there a massive airlock tbh bu there can't be now as we have tried all sorts so somethings not just right an tbh I van afford to take it anywhere to be looked/checked/fixed etc so what I'm thinking is its a lot of time an messing about just for hot water in a sink! When a kettle could be be boiled. Doesnt run heating or a shower etc so thinking of removing it tbh....get more space an saves a bit if weight lol.... question is do I just replace the cold water tpiece from tounbbh rear of pump with an elbow piece? An disconnect water pipes an the electric from water heater unscrew an remove??? Would my camper now just run on cold water from aquaroll?.... thanks

You seem to have your heart set in removing it but it seems a really unwise thing to do. It’s going to affect any resale value badly and for what could cost less than £50 I would leave it as it is until your in a position to have someone look at it. Even a fellow campsite member may know. I’ve no idea how to remove it but I’d be wary of causing other issues.

Is the pump you put into your aqua roll working properly? Have you been on the truma website? You could ring trumauk? I hope you get it sorted out. Having hot water in the cabin is great. On a really wet day to be able to wash, and wash up without having to leave the camper is ideal. Think again before removing the water heater. Good luck.

That is the same as our Pathfinder. He main by the fridge and the switch on the seat base. No other switches for the heater. Again good luck with it.

if the pump is working you must have power, so you dont need to keep looking for a switch, your explanation of the heater switch etc is just as it was on my pullman, have a look under the seat at the consumer unit and check the fuses and also check the fuse in in the fused switch, do you have 2 turnpike fittings under the seat by the water heater or have you just got a drop down switch to drain the water system, if you have the 2 knobs make sure they are fully closed or else they will allow air in the system or allow the water to run/drip out and that will stop the flow of water.
